Privacy policy
I handle your data myself. No middlemen and the bare minimum of information.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is me, Juan Carlos Sacristán Antoni, as the owner of juansacri.com.
Contact email: juan@juansacri.com
What data I collect and why
1. Contact form
If you write to me through the contact form I collect: name, email, organisation (optional), reason and message. Purpose: reply to and address your request. Legal basis: your consent when submitting the form. Retention: the time needed to resolve your enquiry, and if it leads to collaboration, for the duration of the relationship.
2. "Energy letters" newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter I collect: name and email. Purpose: send you my reflections on energy communities, cooperativism and energy transition once a month. Legal basis: your explicit consent. Retention: until you unsubscribe (each email has an unsubscribe link).
Who else sees your data
I use FormSubmit.co as data processor for forms and newsletter. Emails arrive directly at my personal Google (Gmail) account. No other company accesses your data.
I don't sell your data. I don't share it with third parties for commercial purposes. And I don't use it to profile you.
Your rights
You can exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access — know what data I hold on you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask me to delete your data.
- Objection — ask me to stop processing it.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured format.
- Restriction — restrict processing.
To exercise them, write to juan@juansacri.com. I'll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
If you believe I haven't handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Security
I apply reasonable technical measures to protect your data: the site is served over HTTPS, forms include anti-spam protection, and emails are handled in accounts with two-factor authentication.

If I update how I handle your data, you'll see it here. Last revision: April 2026.
